About You

Are you ambitious for a career in Sales? Do you thrive on achievement and love to be rewarded financially for your hard work? Do you want to work for an innovative company that is just as invested in your progress? Then we want you!

Our Values:

  • We value you giving a shit about what you do and what we do.
  • Playing and winning as a team meaning you believe in collaboration and working together.
  • Taking responsibility before blame where no matter what, you self-reflect and do your best to be accountable to yourself and others.
  • Where there isn’t a path we believe in creating one where we always encourage initiative and innovation and a problem solving mindset.

About the Role

Our sales team is responsible for lead generation & qualification of outbound and inbound leads. As an SDR, your focus will be on “opening doors” to new customers through prospecting and identifying avenues of value for the business. This is a critically important role within our company, as SDRs, you are the first contact with prospective customers and expanding existing customer relationships.

You will be part of a larger Commercial team that has an SDR, Account Director, Customer Success Managers, Solutions Engineers, Sales Operations, Digital Marketing, CEO, COO and CMO. Within that team, you will have an account team that you work with daily which will be comprised of an Account Director (think Team Captain) and a Customer Success Manager. This team will be focused on the Energy, Oil and Environment vertical with specific accounts that we are targeting and specific people. You will be encouraged to be creative, communicative and show curiosity in all things related to your vertical and prospecting into our Customer and prospective accounts.

You will have an energetic, can-do attitude and are comfortable working in a metrics-driven role. You love to be rewarded and recognised for your contributions.

Perks about the SDR Team:

We invest in YOU: you will have a generous commission plan, weekly training, career progression plan (SDRs at Wazoku have progressed into Customer Success, Account Management and/or Management roles).

We like to have FUN: you will join weekly Banter sessions, monthly team events and quarterly incentives.

Why it may not be for you

  • We are a 40-hour+ work week, Mon-Fri – this means that you do whatever it takes to be successful and if you can do this in less than 40 hours – amazing – if it takes more initially – then we expect it.
  • It is a hybrid role where you will be required to work from the London office 3 days per week – this will be more frequent in your first 6 months while we go through your onboarding period.
  • We have various meetings per week and people are expected to attend and contribute (cameras on if remote, responding in chat, raising your ideas and opinions etc)
  • Everyone has the opportunity to query, ask questions, have new ideas and we will give you our opinion. We operate on continuous reciprocal feedback and if you’ve heard of radical candour – this is what we try our best to follow.
  • We have set behaviours that everyone in the commercial team must demonstrate and those are curiosity, creativity and initiative – none of these can be taught – but we love it when you bring them to the table
