You’ll partner with and report to the Director of Strategic Accounts to prospect strategic expansion opportunities across our Enterprise clients - think research, lead gen, qualification, and booking calls/demos. Once a successful prospecting process is mastered along with product knowledge, there will be opportunity to take ownership of some expansion opportunities with oversight and support. This position gives you an opportunity to learn the ropes of Enterprise SaaS sales from an experienced mentor while doing hands-on work at the top of the funnel. This is a great role to find growth from BDR to AE or from SMB sales/farming to enterprise.

0-6 Months

  • Become the PerformLine expert
  • Prospect + find opportunities for expansion
  • Learn the playbooks, product, industry, pitch, FAQs and client base inside and out.
  • Embrace the idea of learning everything you can - shadow, ask questions, and gain understanding
  • Bring enthusiasm and energy to the sales team on a daily basis.
  • Focus on pipeline building from scratch through lead generation, outbound activity, and working your named account list

6-12 Months

  • Start working some of your own deals - manage a small book of business with oversight.
  • Maintain a hunter mentality to continually prospect through inMail, email, research, networking, and conferences
  • Understand how to stick with the playbook while also getting creative to push deals across the finish line


  • Sales or Business Development experience
  • Coachability - you seek out coaching and mentorship from industry leaders with decades of sales experience

  • Excited about a high volume, uncapped commission, outbound sales environment
