Intellect, a leading provider of highly configurable Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality (EHSQ) software solutions, is seeking a dynamic Senior Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team. This position will report to the Vice President of Sales.

By leveraging our solutions, organizations can significantly reduce their Cost of Quality (CoQ), enhance operational excellence, and ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO, FDA, OSHA, EPA, and GxP regulations.
About the Role:
As the Senior Pre-Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in presenting the product to prospective customers and answering their business and technical questions. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Performing live presentations for the No-Code Platform (BPM), Quality Management Software (QMS), and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) solutions, including conducting technical deep dives to demonstrate product capabilities.
- Customizing/Configuring tailored presentations of our software solutions to address client-specific technical requirements and business workflows.
- Creating detailed demo videos for use via our demo-automation platform, Consensus, showcasing advanced features and custom configurations.
- Conveying product feedback from prospects to the Product Management team, including technical requirements and integration challenges.
- Supporting Account Executives in responding to RFPs and RFIs by providing technical expertise, clarifying product functionality, architecture, and integration capabilities.
- Leading Business Case calls and assisting prospects in building a business case by providing detailed ROI analysis, technical workflows, and solution architecture.
- Setting up trial environments for prospects, configuring environments to simulate real-world use cases, and troubleshooting technical issues during trials.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to develop technically accurate and compelling sales enablement materials, including white papers, technical case studies, and product comparison guides.
- Providing in-depth technical support and expertise during the sales process, including troubleshooting integration challenges, data migration strategies, and system architecture planning.
- Conducting in-depth product demonstrations and technical deep dives, focusing on system customization, API capabilities, and integration with third-party systems such as ERP, MES, and CRM platforms.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers, serving as the technical point of contact during the sales cycle and ensuring alignment between product capabilities and customer needs.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape, continuously enhancing technical knowledge of cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory compliance in highly regulated industries.
- Assisting with the onboarding and training of new clients and employees, focusing on technical setup, system configuration, API integrations, and user training for both non-technical and technical audiences.
- Supporting post-sales activities, including technical validation, system architecture reviews, and helping clients through complex technical implementations and integrations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- At least 6 years of relevant experience, ideally in software solutions or quality management systems (QMS).
- Strong technical presentation skills, including live software demos and PowerPoint usage.
- Ability to quickly develop and present multiple technical solutions for prospect problems.
- Innovative mindset with a focus on optimizing processes and resources.
- Comfortable adapting to fast-paced environments, managing priorities, and handling change.
- Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot, and their integrations.
- Proficiency in explaining cloud architecture, deployment models (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), and technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong communication skills to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with experience troubleshooting software integration and configuration issues.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and related technologies like APIs and microservices.
- Basic understanding of software development processes like Agile and DevOps.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, technical support, and industry events.
- Able to manage multiple technical projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards like ISO, FDA, and Six Sigma is beneficial.
- Experience with video editing software for demo creation is a plus.
This is a full-time, salaried, exempt role working at least 40 hours per week on a primarily remote basis. You may need to travel for client meetings, technical support and industry events, up to 10% of the time.
