Job Summary:
The Data Services Engineer Level III will be responsible for supporting multiple customers, creating the DSE process documentation, and being the point of contact for all Pareo-related data and Analytic items. This role will also lead analytics reporting on financial updates, and it will lead new analytic implementations. The role will collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, software engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that data pipelines are efficient, reliable, and secure. This role requires deep expertise in data engineering technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

You may be ideal if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent years of work experience.
  • 6 years minimum of experience in data engineering, with a focus on designing and building scalable data infrastructure and pipelines.
  • Moderate to expert SQL experience
  • Ability to Support multiple customers, drive initiatives, projects, and outcomes 100% independently.
  • Exceptionally high productivity and quality of work.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to create DSE process documentation.
  • Point of contact for all Pareo-related data and Analytic items
  • Comfortable presenting Analytics Report financial updates.
  • Background in leading new Analytic implementations
  • Experience with cloud platforms and proficiency in cloud services.
  • Familiarity with data modeling techniques and concepts.
  • Experience with streaming data processing technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • 70% individual contributor | 30% team coach and solutioning
  • Drive initiatives, projects, and outcomes independently.
  • Design and architect data infrastructure solutions, including data warehouses, data lakes, and streaming data pipelines, to support the organization's data needs.
  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming large volumes of data from diverse sources.
  • Design and implement data models and schemas to support efficient querying and analysis by data scientists and analysts.
  • Optimize data pipelines and infrastructure for performance and scalability.
  • Monitor data pipelines and infrastructure for performance issues, errors, and anomalies, and troubleshoot and resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Implement security best practices and data governance policies to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, software engineers, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Document data infrastructure, pipelines, and processes, and share knowledge with team members to ensure a high level of understanding and collaboration.
